The built-in battery covers the trailcameras power requirements and is sufficient for all normal use! With fully charged battery, a surveillance camera without transmission can take about 3700 pictures / night with IR. For video recording about 80-120 movies a 25s per / night.

The solar cell panel is easily mounted with the supplied adjustable bracket or mounting strap. The panel is trusted with double stand brackets - one back and one bottom edge. On the front there is a small diode that shows if it is charging etc. Suitable mounting is towards the south with an angle of installation of about 30-45 degree. Late in the year with low sun you can angle it down more.
