MinkPolice sms alarms can be used for all traps that have a mechanical movement when the trap strikes again. Fits perfectly to use for everyone: Fits all live trapping traps in the market for fox, badger, marten, mink, bird etc. Also great for traps for marten, mink etc.
The design of the trigger is smart and reliably designed with a magnet attached to the alarm, when the trap is triggered it is pulled away and the alarm is sent to your mobile or computer.
The start-up is simple, put the magnet in place and a beep is heard, after about 30 seconds two beeps are heard and the alarm is ready!
The magnet connects to the moving part of the trap such as the tramplate, door, gate and when it is closed the magnet is removed and triggers the alarm, after about 30 - 40 seconds you will receive sms (up to 5 no) or Mail (up to 10 addresses). If you also use the MinkPolice APP, you also get push notices!
The alarm is easily configured via the URL: www.minkpolice.com or via APP: Minkpolice. Enter the mobile numbers and email addresses you want to be alerted. Also choose whether you want the alarm to send you a status every day (recommended). Once you have added an alarm, you will be able to check the status of your alarm: battery status, signal strength and temperature. We recommend downloading the APP MinkPolice for even easier configuration and monitoring of the alarm!
MinkPolice can be used with all Swedish SIM cards. If you buy a pre-programmed alarm from us, we use Telia cash cards loaded with SEK 100 as standard. Alarms that are purchased without programming come with the manufacturer's SIM card in. You decide whether you want to activate and use the SIM card which is a subscription for EUR 11.90 per year or remove it and use a Swedish SIM card. MinkPolice also works well in areas with poor signal strength where regular calls and sms fail when communicating with a server via data traffic that requires very little amount of data.
The unit is powered by 4 AA lithium batteries and with two status updates per day it is estimated that they last about 1 year. When the battery level becomes low, the alarm notifies you! We recommend lithium batteries as they work flawlessly regardless of temperature.
Any alarm that has been registered can only be used and configured by the user associated with the alarm. This means that it becomes useless if it is stolen, it is not possible to register the same device again with other user data.
MinkPolice is IP67 rated which means it is waterproof down to 1 meter and has a two year factory warranty. MinkPolice.com has a 24/7 customer service that answers questions within 24 hours.
