The camera can also be set in a mode called daily report, then it sends the last picture that was taken and the time for all other images of the day. You decide at what time of day the report is sent to you.The camera also has a system that allows you to pick and choose how many MMS it can send each day. This feature allows you to efficiently control the MMS cost. All images are also stored on the SD card into the camera.
Invisible Black IR, it means that the camera's IR illumination is completely invisible, you cant see any red impulse at all in bootom of the IR-lights. Not many manufacturers have solved the problem with totally invisible infrared in a good way. The common problem of black-IR is that much of the range is lost and the quality of compressed images is much less sharp. Uovision Black IR has maintained a very good range while image quality is at a high level. The invisible black infrared light provides for certain uses enormous advantages, not least when the camera is used to clean monitor and the camera does not reveal himself with any bottom glow of lights. When used for taking pictures of wildlife, the benefits also is at place. Certain species may first few times they gets photographed act a bit shy and run away from cameras that have "normal IR" bottom glow. With black-IR light this problem is gone.
In order to maximize the camera uses the IR light power can be set in two different strengths. This function is important when the camera will work indoors, full strength of IR-flash mostly becomes too strong.
Time Lapse, timer and motion sensor
Uovision has done a very complete system for effective monitoring and simultaneous control of the camera's operational status.
It can, like all previous cameras operate using only the motion sensor to shoot immediately upon detection of motion. To make the camera even more effectively Uovision also is equipped with a daily start and stop timer and Time Lapse (shooting after an adjustable time interval)
Certainly there are other cameras with these features, but none that has the function of all these three can be used simultaneously to exploit the capabilities of the individual functions maximum (Motion Sensor, Timer and Time Lapse).
This means that the camera can be set to send tex 2 images at selected time points and also take photho if the motion sensor detects any motion. Pictures taken automatically every day can tell you that the camera is active and that the lenses are free etc. By trapping this system each day can confirm that the trap is not closed down, as long as this pictures arriwes you know that the camera is active and that no animal entered the trap . This greatly facilitates the use of live catch traps and make legal check of the trap each day without wisithing the place. The motion sensor can be active simultaneously, so you will not miss when some animals is near the trap. Awesome for both the monitoring of property and wild!
Motion Sensor
Uovision have a sensor with a maximum wide detection range, adapted to the image width and long range and high sensitivity. The sensor is adjustable in three steps. Low, Normal and High. Effective for both large and small, fast detetektion at just over seconds.
Time Lapse:
When using this function you easily can monitor large areas effectively. For example, the camera can take a picture with a 2-minute intervals over a field. You can then easily see on the high resolution images of any animal coming out and when. Maybe it's the big buck you looked for, in this way you will find him. And Uovision combining this function with the camera's motion sensor active at the same time and also the day timer.
Video:
Uovision can shoot video in quality 640x480 day and night.
Each sequence can be set from 1 second to 1 minute night and day. Pir sensor can simultaneously work with intervals down to only 1 second between each video clip.
Image Properties:
Uovision shooting with high quality, day or night. You can choose from three qualities. 3MP, 5MP, 8MP or 12Mp.
If the camera will be used to vareriad shooting day and night it is usually best to choose 5MP. This gives a high quality on daypicutures and gives less risk of motion blur in night shots with IR-flash.
8MP is used when it is considered that the pictures taken during the day is the most important and night images have lower priority and one can accept that it occurs more often blur the images.
3MP selected mainly when the camera will be used for long-term monitoring and you want to use the memory card and accommodate the maximum number of images. The pictures in 3MP is still very good in Uovision, infrared images at night taking advantage of the slightly smaller size because they are created faster.
Uovision can be adjusted to take 1-3 shots in the detection of movement. When the camera took a series of pictures you can decide how much time must elapse until the camera motion tendon re-enabled for detection. The time between image series can be set from 1 s to 60 min. Often it is convenient to use the setting with three shots. If the camera is active in MMS or GPRS mode is the first image in each series that is sent to your cell phone or Email. All images are simultaneously stored in high definition format on the SD-memory card.
Battery / Power Consumption: Uovision is loaded with 12 AA batteries, ultra-low standby consumption makes that the camera can stay active for a whole year.
Uovision have awesome energy efficiency, with MMS active our cameras have managed to pass 6month and sent sevral thousends MMS, with use of lithium AA batteries. In standby mode uses just 6 mAh per day!
LCD display / Playback:
Uovision has a 2 "high built-in color monitor with playback of film and video. Along with the camera's incredibly educational menus and smart software with preloaded channel settings for Telia, this camera is very easy to use, even to the untrained.
Uovision is simply the best trailcamera we have used, so far - and the feeling tells me that Uovision dont drop the grip they have.
