This scent works by combining the urine scent of a female estrus and a sedative. Their sense of smell tells them that they have found a rutting deer. Bucks react instinctively and begin to follow or search for the aromas. Since the pheromones emitted are potent, they will quickly penetrate the hunting area. Bucks will relentlessly follow the scent to its source, very often without regard for their safety and surroundings.
